Lynn Combs is an award-winning, internationally-selling author.
She grew up as a Navy brat, following her father’s career across three continents. This ever-changing landscape of cultures, stories, and experiences sparked her imagination from a young age. She spent her childhood weaving tales filled with colorful characters, exotic locations, and plenty of adventure. A lifelong lover of stories, she especially enjoyed folktales from the many places she’s lived and traveled.
Now residing in Southwest Missouri, Lynn is an active member of local writing groups and serves on the board for the Between the Pages Writers Con conference. She holds a bachelor’s degree with concentrated studies in education and psychology, along with a minor in theatre arts. Her award-winning short stories have been featured in multiple anthology’s in 2023 and 2025 by Sleuths’ Ink Mystery Writers. In February 2025 she debuted her first children’s picture book, Duncan the Dragon Finds His Fire, and is currently working on both a YA fantasy series and a cozy mystery series—along with many more stories brewing in her imagination.
Lynn’s dream writing spot is by the ocean, with her toes in the sand, the sun on her face, and the sound of waves as her muse. Her ultimate goal is to transition from her nine-to-five job into a full-time career as an author and speaker, eventually settling into her forever home by the sea.
